For those worried about long-term preservation, I understand the game info is actually on the cartridge/disc itself.

Are the Pixel Remasters worth it? It’s in the eye of the beholder, especially because the originals can be easily emulated on almost any device these days, but the general consensus seems to be pretty favourable especially if you like orchestrated soundtracks and quality-of-life improvements.
