I got a text for a flash sale at Halo Car Wash until 8:30am EST April 15. They are a highly rated car wash with multiple locations in the Ottawa and London areas (none in GTA). The only drawback is that they are often very busy.

For someone like me who only gets a car wash every couple of weeks, this is way better value than a membership.

The codes will expire Dec 31, 2025, so don’t buy more than you can use.

Until end of Wednesday, April 16th, Food Basics has Saporito brand Corn, Canola, Vegetable and Sunflower oil on sale for $6.98 / 3L. Check your local flyer as this may be GTA area only.

Personally, I don’t use canola and vegetable oils for cooking (it is good for cleaning carrot colouring from juicers, though). And Sunflower oil is usually a bit more expensive than canola and vegetable oils so you’re getting this for 60% off, or $2.33/L.

Sunflower oil price has dropped in recent years as these are sourced from Ukraine. At the lowest point, it was $1.99/L. Then, Costco began selling name brand versions for $5/L (also product of Ukraine). So, $2.33/L seems like a good price.
