Came across this as I was looking to upgrade from my M1 Air. I was looking mostly at Apple Certified Refurbished but happened to find this.

I know OpenBox is maybe a bit controversial based on what I read online but I’ve bought from them before via Best Buy Marketplace and they have physical stores in BC so I figured it was pretty safe.

They have the base M4 Pro (12-core CPU, 16-core GPU) – Open Box for $2099.99 ($600 off retail) which I thought was pretty good or they also have it New for $2299.99.

FYI Apple Certified Refurbished has the same model in black or silver for $190 more but savings is savings right? lol

I bought this last Wed and it arrived here this Tues due to the long weekend. Paying a bit extra for Xpresspost was kinda useless but whatever.

All that to say I’ve received my order and it came with Apple limited warranty until January 2026 and I also brought it to the Apple store to have them inspect it so I could get Applecare. The device I got was spotless as well and only had 20 battery cycles/ 100% battery health.

Is it still expensive asf? yes but if you happen to be looking for one, not a bad deal I think!

Good deal on a good printer. I was waiting for a sale on this printer but found out that the refurbished is on a decent sale directly from Brother Canada. I didn’t want to spend $300. You also get 6 months of extra extended warranty for free. Brother printers are well built and I doubt refurbished units will have any issues. People seems to be happy with their refurbished units.

I am not a fan of inkjet. Laser all the way. I bought DCP-L2550DW for my parents and it’s still going strong. It has been around 9 years now. We have only had Brother printers and never had any issues.

Flex Rates are like how the company always was, you add in a certain amount and just use it across the world until you use it all up, never expires.

Fixed is more traditional like Airalo and other companies where you pay a fixed amount for a certain amount of data over 30 days and such.

Example: United States

Flex: Add $20 (gives you up to 8.2gb) If you use around 3gb on this trip, anything left over can be used for your next trip and the rate will just adjust according to whatever country you’re in.

Fixed: $20 10gb 30 days, use it all or not, this will expire in 30 days.

eSim never expires, one eSim, don’t worry about installing and uninstalling all the time.

The most compact inflator from all the tool brands, traditional valve, all button controls. No batteries supplied and no it cannot be powered by 12V DC.

I really like the form factor of this Ryobi inflator, it’s slower but it’s much smaller and much quieter than the Ridgid one

Apologies if this was already posted. The Rona store on 2311 Royal Windsor Drive Oakville is closing. Guess the sale has been going on for a few weeks at 50% off but now 90% off paints and 75% off everything else. Picked up a load of paints today at 90% off. Tools are few and far between but got a Kobalt hammer drill at 75% off. Inventory is weak but still some good finds.
