Trying to get better open ear ear buds for running. Tried the Shokz Openfit and the battery life is abysmal. Tried Shokz OpenRun and I find the clamp feeling uncomfortable for longer periods, and the bass truly isn’t all that low.

Have read good reviews on these Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. Also comes with $50 credit towards streaming service.

Kicking myself a bit because I paid full price in Sept as Baratza has a reputation for rarely allowing discounts. But no regrets, a huge upgrade over our old Bodum grinder in every metric. Small but significant improvement that is compounded daily.

The main difference of the Virtuoso+ over the Encore ($200) is that it comes with a timer and better burr set, but the Encore ESP ($280) is better for espresso (no timer) I believe. That all said, I use it for Aeropress and pourover, so espresso grinds were the least of my considerations. Look up YouTube comparisons if you need more information.

Also, this being RFD – if a $20 grinder is “just as good” for you — good for you.
