My wife ported to and out of Koodo last year to get a good deal from Virgin Plus. And as a result was able to contact and get a Koodo winback offer by calling +1-833-896-0428
It’s a $35 plan with $10 discount for setting up PAD with bank account and $5 discount for 12 months.
This plan gives 80GB, CAN-US-Mex calling, 1000 intl mins, etc.
With this plan, she got a Samsung S25FE 128GB for an extra $5/month for 24 months.
So totally (Plan + Device), Year 1 – $25/m, Year 2 – $30/m
The device prices they quoted were just the listed price they had on website. So any device on their website can be added to this plan. The plan and the fact that it’s not just a BYOD plan is what makes it a solid deal.
For people who are not serious about getting the device but want to get the best deal possible, they can try getting this as a BYOD plan from the rep and go to BestBuy to get the device added to the plan and get a gift card as well (S25FE comes with a $200 GC in Best buy) for an even sweeter deal. The rep told that it’s not possible to get the device in store on this plan, and he may be right. Since she needed the phone, we didn’t take the chance. If anyone reports back, I’ll update it here.
Based on other people reporting, the plan specifics and the ability to add device to the plan are YMMV.
