[Costco] Centr 2 FTX.3 Home Gym + Bench & 3-month Centr Membership $1500 (reg. $2000)
As far as I know, this is the same as the Inspire FTX unit (Centr bought out Inspire apparently). Looking at past RFD threads, $1500 is as low as it goes for this well reviewed unit.

[Best Buy] Best Buy – OLED 77″ (LG B5 / Samsung S84F) $1999
Best buy has lowered the price of the LG B5 77″ down to $2k
Most likely to match Costco’s price (starting tomorrow)
They have also lowered the Samsung S84F 77″ down to $2k
Costco still the better buy due to the warranty (2 year incl, extended available)https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/sa … 5/19420284

[Costco] MyArcade Atari Gamestation Go Portable $169.99
This came out very recently and is already at an ATL price. It is a bit of a niche product, more for fans of retro emulation but it could be a great Christmas buy. There are plenty of reviews online if you want to know all the details but the TL;DR –-Portable(ish) handheld game system with a 7″ screen
-Preloaded with 200+ games, mostly Atari games (2600, 5200, Arcade)
-Unique trackball, spinner and keypad controllers built in for use in certain games
-Can be connected to a TV, you can use wired or wireless controllers for multiplayer-supported games
-Supports MicroSD to add gamesI picked one up today, going to play around with it once it’s charged. Comparatively it’s $211 on Amazon, and it launched at USD$179 so this price is not bad. My friend bought it at launch at Costco for $200, and this sale is on until December 28th if you can find stock. Online seems to still be an option. Costco Vaughan had a few in an electronics aisle which an employee has to direct me to, not much there.
I already know comments will probably include “get an Ambernic/Ayaneo/TrimUI” etc etc etc. Yes I have other handhelds, they’re all great, but I got this one because of the unique control scheme (trackball/spinner/gamepad) and large screen, so this is in a slightly different tier compared to what you can already get in the flooded retro handheld market. That’s not to say that this doesn’t have a lot of drawbacks. Simply put, it really needs CFW support to unlock it because right now it’s pretty limited in its support. But I’m confident that’s coming soon, people are already putzing around with it for that purpose (check the AtariAge forums). And quite honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if the price dropped further, I don’t know how many people will see this is a good deal at this price point. I’ll definitely be watching for a price drop to see if I can get the difference back from Costco…
I know some RFDers are into this sort of product, just putting this out there!

[Best Buy] Sennheiser Momentum 4 over the ear BT ANC headphones denim only $249 50% off
Denim colour only.Has been on sale $249-$299 in 2025.
MSRP $499 is crazy. Getting old. Momentum 5 is likely right around the corner. Sennheiser HDB 630 is an audiophile upgrade from M4, but is pricey at $699….nearly 3x M4’s sale price. HDB 630 has BTD 700 USB-C dongle.
To improve sound quality (especially Apple phones), it may be cost effective to add BTD 700 dongle to M4 at a cost of $70.

[Best Buy] Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14″ (MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910, 16GB RAM, 256GB UFS) – $699
This is the first time I’ve posted a deal, so hopefully I won’t botch things too badly. This deal won’t appeal to anyone who can’t imagine paying more than a few hundred dollars for a Chromebook. This, however, is a high-end Chromebook, with a powerful ARM-based processor, a generous amount of RAM and storage (by Chromebook standards), an OLED touchscreen, and a fingerprint reader.
Lenovo’s product page: https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/p/laptops/ … 83my0001us
A review: https://www.tomsguide.com/computing/chr … -14-review
The MSRP for this configuration is $1080, currently on sale directly from Lenovo for $1050, $987 via Perkopolis, so $699 represents a substantial discount. It costs 749 USD on both Lenovo’s and Best Buy’s US sites. Note that Best Buy orders are fulfilled by Lenovo.
Why do I think it’s a pricing error? As I explained, the pricing is inconsistent between Best Buy’s and Lenovo’s sites, and between Canadian and US listings. There’s another inconsistency: the Chromebook Plus variant with lesser specs (12GB RAM, 128GB UFS, no touchscreen or fingerprint reader) is $899!
One more oddity: Before Best Buy’s last round of sales ended on December 18, the sale price was listed as $699 then too, but the discount was only $81, from the ostensibly regular price of $780. Now the discount is $381, which makes more sense.
And yes, I’ve ordered and received one, and verified that it is indeed what I expected. Note that the specifications in the Best Buy listing have errors: it does have a touchscreen and a backlit keyboard.
UPDATE: Well, I obviously screwed up. When I wrote this post, my understanding was that this particular laptop, unlike others sold by Lenovo, had never been discounted by much. That’s partly why all the discrepancies implied a price error to me. Some of the responses overlooked that this is a Best Buy Marketplace item, fulfilled by Lenovo, not Best Buy, so this isn’t a case of BB offering a discount to move stock; I thought that someone at Best Buy or Lenovo had misconfigured the listing. I now realize that Lenovo may intentionally be offering a lower price to Best Buy customers.
So I made at least two big mistakes: (1) not realizing that the sale price wasn’t unprecedented, and (2) not understanding how sacred the words “price error” are in these hallowed forums. Sorry!
