  • [Adidas – Toronto Premium Outlet] [Boxing Day] Adidas Evo SL (Women’s) – $69.99 at Toronto Premium Outlet

Lowest price (69.99) I’ve seen of the Adidas Evo SL and at a colorway that’s not widely available. The white/green colorway is also available for the same price. Didn’t see men’s version at the store.

The adidas Evo SL is a really popular shoe for runners because of its versatility and at this price it’s a no-brainer if you’re looking for an all-around running shoe.

It’s quite a zoo though so good luck. Arrived at 6am and parking was already filling up fast and long lines on the popular stores already.

  • [Staples] Bell Offers (35$ BYOD & iPhone 16 ~ 4$ with SMB Plan)

Went to Fido first and asked for a better offer, but they came back with a ridiculously high price that didn’t make sense at all, especially for Boxing Day. Was checking other dealers and got it from Staples (High Tech Rd / Red Maple Rd) instead. Didn’t knew they are dealer. Ended up switching two line from Fido to Bell, one for BYOD for $35/month 100GB (US), no connection fee, plus a $100 Staples gift card and 10,000 Aeroplan points.

For my wife, she got upgrade from iPhone 14 to iPhone 16 on Bell. They offered a $355 Bell discount + $400 Staples gift card (total $855 value), they said gift card can be applied toward the down payment, so he used our both gift cards bringing the device cost to about $4/month. The plan is $45/month on a business plan (but this was a business plan so they needed my HST number). I believe it was worth checking Staples.

  • [Amazon.ca] [Boxing Day] TP-Link 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Easy Smart Switch – $15.75

If you wanted to start using VLANs, this is a great price on this smart switch. Obviously you need a router that supports VLANs, ie openwrt or opn/pfsense. I have this and the 8 port version, no issues, and VLANs work well. Keep in mind the LAGG is static, and doesn’t not support dynamic (LACP).

    About this item

    – 5-Gigabit ports provide instant large file transfers
    – 15K jumbo frame improves performance of large data transfers
    – Effective network monitoring via port mirroring, loop prevention and cable Diagnostics
    – Abundant VLAN features improve network security via traffic segmentation
    – Igmp snooping optimizes multicast applications
    – Port and tag-based QoS enable smooth latency-sensitive traffic
    – Innovative energy-efficient technology reduces power consumption by up to 75-Percent
    – TP-Link offers limited lifetime warranty and free 24/7 technical support.

  • [Amazon.ca] Sennheiser HD 569 – $99.95

Amazon is showing the HD 569 on sale for $99.99. Not an all time low, but still a solid deal for those looking for a pair of decent headphones in this price range.

Note that these have a sound profile that may not suit everyone’s needs/tastes. I personally am not a fan, but these are very comfy to wear for long periods.
