Sup RFD crew, back from the perma-dead to post one of the few real deals on here this holiday season. this one is gonna pretty ymmv as it’s dependent on a price match on amazon.ca – which is probably not gonna last long if amazon the changes price.

Steps:

1) Take a screenshot of the white Quiet Comfort Ultra Gen 2 on Amazon.ca (currently $454 as of posting). Or use my screenshot linked above. Obviously, do not buy it from Amazon.ca as the algo will up the price and end the deal…

2) Go to Bose.ca, chat with customer service (adblocker off for chat popup), ask them for a price match as you prefer to buy via Bose.ca instead of amazon – they should approve you for a 10% ($50) discount – but GET A REFERRAL CODE/ID from them (do not place your order with customer service rep) – you will contact them again after delivery to get the 10% discount applied to the order after (within 90 days according to the rep if you wanna wait that long).

3) Go to Rakuten.ca -> Bose -> 15% cashback link. Buy the Bose Ultra Gen 2 headphone you want.

After delivery (and maybe after Rakuten cash back applies) – contact Bose, get the 10% refunded on your order, the referral ID should make it straight-forward as they’ve already approved the discount. You also get a 90 day return policy with bose.ca.

bose price $499 – $50 price match – 15% rakuten $67.5 or $74.85 rakuten cash back (not sure if rakuten will calc the 15% on the post refund price of $450 or the $499 price).

so around $375-$382 excl. taxes. Was able to get this approved by a bose rep just an hour ago.

Pretty good deal considering these are Bose’s flagship headphones just released fall 2025, doubt they will go on any significant sale for the next year or so. Slightly edges out the latest Sony WH-1000XM6 in comfort, and for about ~$180 more than the recent $199 XM4 deal, I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for higher end headphones you can wear all day.

Dismount Bike Shop in Toronto has 20% off everything for Boxing Day, including bikes. Sale price applies in cart, but no further discount on already on-sale bikes. Mixed availability of stock depending on size and model. Typically, their sale bikes include a $125 flat rate shipping, but it seems like everything that is regular price and marked down for Boxing Day gets free shipping.
