  • [Amazon.ca] Miyoo A30 Retro Handheld $59.99-$12 (coupon)

I have the miyoo mini+ but after a while my hands get tired due to the small size of the item. The Miyoo A30 seems to be enough where I won’t get cramps after a while. There was a thread on the Miyoo mini+ at $60 (+tax). But $48 on amazon for the A30 is the lowest I’ve seen it.

Screen size is at 2.8″(A30) vs the 3.5″(mini+) so that may be an issue for some.

One thing to note that its not sold by Amazon but by ARTIVIEW LLC. It is fulfilled by Amazon though so if there any issues, we can simply return.

Story Mode Update & 1.0 Launch Date Announcement – Steam news update (May 20, 2025)

    Dear Onbu Riders

    LOTS of news incoming today!

    TLDR version:
    – 1.0 release is coming July 17th to Steam, Xbox, Playstation and Switch.
    – We just released the Story Mode Update.
    – Our roadmap has been updated.
    – The game’s price will increase to $29.99 after the current discount.
    – There will be a physical edition for the game for Switch and Playstation, more infos soon.
    – Check out the new trailer.

    The time has finally come.
After almost 2 years of Early Access, The Wandering Village has a 1.0 launch date.
Get ready to jump back into the game on July 17th 2025, coming to Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

We’ve been hard at work and have released many major updates for the game since its Early Access release. In-between we have also pushed dozens of smaller bug fixing and balancing patches. So make sure to pay Onbu another visit 😀

    <snip>

    Price increase
With 1.0 coming up and based on all the updates the game has received since its Early Access launch, we have decided to increase the game’s price to $29.99.
The price increase will go live after the current discount ends on May 27th.

    <snip>

According to IsThereAnyDeal / SteamDB.info price history tracking data, the current 30% discount price of CA$20.29 is matching the all-time low price for this game. The base game price will be increased after May 27th from US$24.99 to US$29.99 (whatever that ends up being in CAD dollars).

The Wandering Village – Early Access Description:

    Why Early Access?
“Our studio has a big focus on community-based development and this is already the third time we launch a game on Steam Early Access. Both of our previous games greatly benefited from the experience. That’s why we have returned with our new game to once again develop and improve it together with our players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
The Wandering Village is planned to stay in Early Access for one year or longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“The full version will have a bigger set of features and more content. We plan to add new building types, new biomes, new events/missions and expand the background story of the game. It will also be more polished, having gone through lots of testing and QA. We are also planning to add controller support to the game alongside other Steam features such as trading cards and achievements. And finally, we’re sure players will have lots of interesting ideas during Early Access which we will consider implementing as well.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The most important features of the game are already there: building, farming, scavenging, research, scouting and giving commands to Onbu, the giant creature. The current version forms an enjoyable gameplay loop, but is still a bit bare-bones, lacking content and polish. We also plan to add more features such as trading with merchants and more advanced scouting mechanics. Also, there are certainly still some bugs that will need to be ironed out.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The price may increase moderately when we release out of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“We are planning to communicate with players about new features and ideas for the game and gather their feedback and bug reports in our forums and on . Our players have been a great help localising the game so far and we hope to continue this approach during the Early Access of the game. We’re looking forward to improving the game together with you!”

The Wandering Village – Game Description:

In a world where mysterious plants are spreading all over the earth, emitting toxic spores as they grow, a small group of survivors seeks shelter on the back of a giant, wandering creature they call ‘Onbu’.

Become their leader, build their settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu to survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world.

    Build your village

A functioning village is the basis of your survival. Build your settlement and expand it over Onbu’s back. Plan production chains and optimise them to utilise the limited space as efficiently as possible. Create a society that can overcome any challenge.

    Live on the creature’s back

Living on the back of another organism comes with its own set of challenges. Will you live in symbiosis, bond with Onbu and survive on mutual trust? Or will you become a parasite, only aiming to ensure a better life for your villagers? The choice is yours.

    Discover different biomes

Continuously adapt your village as you travel through a multitude of different biomes, each with its unique climate zones, opportunities and threats. Scout your environments and send out foraging missions to gather rare resources and ancient artefacts.

    Research new technologies

Remnants of the old world hold knowledge that has long been forgotten, but can be unearthed by your villagers. Find and research these technologies, but use them wisely, as progress can be a double-edged sword.

    Survive the wastelands

Ensure the survival of both your villagers and your Onbu, even though poisonous spores, merciless weather, bloodsucking parasites and many more challenges mean that the odds are often stacked against you.
