    Stately Play

“The controls are easy to pick up, the strategy is pretty intuitive, and overall, it’s a well crafted little game.”
    Bleeding Cool

“It’s actually a very good and pretty cleverly designed game, certainly has the same addictive charm that I found with FTL, but fully stands on its own with the fun combat.”

    About This Game

NEXT JUMP is a love letter to shmup’s [Shoot ’em up or space shooters], read in a slightly different manner: In turn-based battles!
Your mission, our mission, is simple:
The dragons are fleeing with all our Elixir supply. Stop them!

    FEATURES

    • It’s a Tactics SHMUP: Take your time and plan your moves!
    • A excellent Coffee break game: Turn-based with fast gameplay. No long waiting time, these turns go by fast!
    • Not only inspired by classic Shmups and Bullet Hells, it’s also influenced by tactical games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Jeanne d’Arc and Roguelikes like FTL and Crypt of the NecroDancer.
    • Each Sector is a Board! Each given “JUMP” represents a new combat board procedurally generated, simulating combat situations only seen in SHMUPs!
    • Pick from 7 playable Ships, all inspired by classic weapons: Ballista, Dagger, Hammer, Staff, Sword, Shield and a Secret one!
    • Equip and Upgrade your ship with different weapons and accessories that change the combat dynamics!
    • Your mission: JUMP! Chase the Dragons and stop them from running away with all that is most sacred to the Bastards by jumping from sector to sector, facing hordes of enemies in turn-based battles!
    • Be a pilot of the Bastards Federation: A group formed by Elves, Humans, Dwarves and Orcs who used to live in peace, sharing their love for all Beverages.
    • Like the classic games of the past, it has a complete MANUAL, accessible within the game!

  • [Ticketmaster] Incubus at Bud Stage June 30th price drop – 200s and floor $105-$127, 400s & lawn $60

INCUBUS – Performing MORNING VIEW In Its Entirety + The Hits

Been keeping an eye on tickets to this show, it started overpriced as usual same as every big legacy band tour these days but prices finally plummeted today. 200 section that were previously going for over $200-$250 are down to $105 now, some floor even available for $127. As low as $60 if you’re ok with 400s or lawn. Prices may continue to drop through to Monday but they’re already selling better now than before since this initial drop.

Reviews from past dates on this tour have been good and they’re a great band to see live if you’ve never seen them before, this tour is them performing arguably their best album in its entirety

  • [STEAM] [STEAM] Summer Sale (26 June — 10 July)

Welcome to the annual Steam Summer Sale!

The sale officially starts at 10:00 AM PST. I’m a little early with this post but I’m excited and a little premature e-action never hurts! 😉

We’re all here to buy games we aren’t planning to play for several months/years because we’re all rich and cool like that. Elden Ring for me during the last spring sale…

However, please be smart and ensure to use the following sites to check whether the deal is worth it or not before you buy:

    https://steamdb.info/sales/
    https://isthereanydeal.com/

Sometimes it’s cheaper at other retailers like Fanatical as they usually offer a 5% coupon. You won’t get those Steam points but it’s not like you’re using them anyways…

Once the sale starts, I will be posting historic low deals mostly as well as other games that I may find interesting to share.

    Deals below:

    91-95% Off:

    90% Off:

    80% to 89% Off:

    51% – 75% Off:

    0% – 50%:

Please feel free to post deals that you find or even games that you have played to help others.

    Happy gaming!

    Hades: $11.02
    Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition: $5.09

    Some Comments:

    • Physical copies of first-party Nintendo games hold their resale value really well. Many prefer that because they can buy a second-hand Mario game for $50-$60 and likely sell it for the same price a few months later.
    • Some games have received a Switch 2 patch with improvements/enhancements (e.g., HDR, frame rate, etc.
    • Digital copies cannot be resold or refunded. They are tied to your account. Nintendo recently introduced specific ways to do digital game lending/virtual game cards. Read up on it if interested.
    • You may have emulated/pirated most of these for free. That sort of bragging does not belong here, lol.

  • [Save On Foods] BOGO Ribeye and T-Bone Steaks, works out to ~$36.31/kg

Save On Foods is having their Buy One Get One Free sale for steaks (Ribeye and T-Bone) again for the next 3 days.

For the last sale I remember they would sell out towards the end of the day and on the last day of the sale the steaks would be thinner in cut. The staff replenish steaks throughout the day so it doesn’t get sold out all at once.

Usually I can find 2 boxes similar in price to each other so the price works out to be ~$36.31/kg. Limit 2 steaks per person.

One of the photos is from last sale to show steak cut/quality. Note: Wonder burger buns are BOGO too, got them last time and this time. Works out to $2.25/pack. Not hot but still good deal.
