Tonight I picked up this flashlight on clearance at Home Depot Nepean, in a clearance bin for $16.22 instead of list of $69.94. They have several different models of Energizer lights on sale at about 75% off. When I left the store at 8pm there were about 10 of these left. I don’t know about other stores.
It is rechargeable with a USB micro to USB-A cable supplied. The packaging indicates 4 hours operation at 1200 lumens and 15 hours operation at 250 lumens. The 1200 lumen setting lights up my backyard really well.
I do not see a way to access the batteries yet, but there is a USB-A jack to charge other devices. This is like a medium size police flashlight – solid aluminum – weighs about a pound and is 10″ long. HD measurements are the package.
This will replace my tactical light that uses 4 D cells, and can be used as a club.
