I’m very very new to metal detectors, but this seems to be a great price. Most information/reviews that I had read recommend this model as a solid choice for beginners. According to 3C, the lowest price that it has been on amazon.ca (going back as far as May 2021) is $370. There is a local FB marketplace ad for a used 440 for $300.

Found a few electronics on steep discounts at Calgary 130th Superstore. Xbox headset is a great deal for me as I missed out on the Steelseries Arctis deal from Costco and this is a similar discount for headphones from a company I’d prefer buying (steelseries offers horrible warranty support for products purchased outside their store). Logitech mouse is also a great deal considering you’re getting a mouse with 3 years warranty from a reputable brand for the same price as the mice from Dollarama.

A confirmed employee who previously has given corporate Cineplex info on Reddit posted this:

On Saturday, Aug 30th and Sunday Aug 31st , Cineplex will offer a $5 general admission + (tax). This includes VIP general admission as well. Additional Surcharges will be applied for Premium Shows Such as IMAX, UltraAVX, VIP, 3D, 4DX etc.”

Limited time offer but I don’t see what the end date is.

Nugs is a streaming service for live music, audio and video. I’m a Springsteen fan and they have a lot of their past concerts going back to the 70s. I’ve read some mixed reviews of the quality but I’m not sure there’s a better spot to go for concert recordings.

I’ve attached screen captures of the annual and monthly plan features and prices. The All Access plan is the only one on sale currently. The other annual plans may include 2 months and 7 days free but I think the All Access plan still works out cheaper per month.
