I saw this deal in Kitchener surplus section but forgot to take a picture and the dumb website link doesn’t provide any details, but it is the DEWALT 20V MAX Orbital Sander, Tool Only (DCW210B).

I’ll be there tomorrow for the wipers so will update post. It’s a good sander that is $139 at amazon now.

Its $6.25 per cable. I did a quick search (ignoring the chinese or random brands) and the next recognizable brand cable was from Cable matters, seemed to be the next cheapest at $12 but only included 1 cable.

If you happen to live in a building with Novus available, they are having a Black Friday promo for 1GIG Internet at $40 a month. Price is guaranteed for 2 years and comes with unlimited data. I don’t believe any other provider can beat or even match this offer right now for internet only plans.

I called customer service and they applied the promo to my existing plan and refunded any remaining amounts from the existing month I already paid for. However, the page fineprint makes it seem like it’s for new customers only so YMMV.

Costco is having one of its periodic sales on Huggies Natural Care baby wipes. Usually for these sales, the wipes are the same price in-store and on Costco.ca, but I haven’t confirmed an in-store price yet.

This is a newer SKU compared to what was offered earlier in the fall, 15 packs with 72 wipes each (1080 total) for $21.99 ($1.466/pack or 2.036¢ per wipe). The wipe packs appear to have been redesigned as well (Winnie the Pooh instead of Mickey Mouse).

Previously the wipes were in a 16 x 72 pack (= 1152) which last went on sale for $23.49 in September. That was $1.468/pack or 2.039¢ per wipe, so while the new SKU would suggest shrinkflation, the new sale cost per wipe is actually very slightly lower. Unclear if there’s any other change to the wipes themselves.

The closest similar pack for Huggies Natural Care at Walmart is 15 x 64 = 960 which is currently on sale for $23.97 (2.50¢ per wipe).

As I’ve said in the past, our household has preferred the Kirkland wipes at Costco, but they haven’t been on sale for a while and it’s not clear when they will again. Purely going by wipe count, compared to the regular price of the Kirkland wipes (9 x 100 for $24.99, or 2.78¢ per wipe) this sale is definitely a better value.
