  • [Rogers] Black Friday iPhone 17 Loyalty Promo – $50/Mo

My 2023 BF promo expires in 3 days and I just got an unsolicited call from Rogers Loyalty. Guess they are being super proactive… Did anyone else get this call?

    Deal was:
    200GB 5G Unlimited Plan

    iPhone 17 $50/mo
    iPhone 17 Pro $85/mo
    iPhone 17 Pro Max $95/mo

Above costs include phone + plan. I did confirm these are save and return so really only moderately hot for the iPhone 17 and as expected the other two options are cold.

    Assuming I’m comparing against a $35 plan then iPhone 17 works out to $15 x 24 = $360 + $355 Save and Return for total $715. Decent discount vs retail at $1129.

Decent deal if you’re looking for iPhone 17 but the Pro and Pro Max always seems to be the hot sellers.

  • [Costco] Business cellphones /business mobility – costco

    Hi everyone,

I went to the Costco Mobility Centre at Ajax, Ontario to check out the small-business plans, and it looks like things have changed recently. The rep told me they now have three different plan tiers: Select, Max, and Ultra.

    According to him:

Only Max and Ultra plans come with cheaper phone prices and Costco gift cards.

Select plans have no gift card, and the phone prices are a bit higher.

For Bell business, he said the Select plan starts at $45/month for the first 3 lines. after 3rd lines each lines first 12 months the cost is $0, and then after 12 months it goes up to $55/month. (This is what he explained.)

He also mentioned that Rogers’ pricing was slightly higher than Bell for the same type of plan.

When I asked about phones, he said the device prices were higher on the Select plan and that there were no gift cards. He explained that if a gift card is added, the plan price goes up, roughly $70/month for Max and $90/month for Ultra.

Just wondering — has anyone else in Ontario Costco locations heard the same thing?

I started a new thread because many people are discussing the costco- Quebec plans, but I wanted to keep Ontario info separate. regards
