I have lots of backpacks but red is my favourite colour so I couldn’t resist ordering one of these backpacks from Adidas Canada’s official eBay site. The specs:

Dimensions: 41.75 cm x 30.25 cm
Volume: 18.7 L

The original price is $45 which is ridiculous. However, the regular Adidas site is selling this for $23 so $13 from their eBay site with free shipping seems like a decent deal to me.

I noticed that “In the Mood for Love” and “Tampopo” from the Criterion Collection were on sale for $5 each on the iTunes Store.

I don’t think there’s a way to (legally) stream these movies, other than signing up for the Criterion Channel, so $5 seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Spotted today at Canadian Tire in Buckingham, QC — Starbucks Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods going for just $5 per box.

Lots of varieties available including Veranda Blend, Pike Place Roast, Espresso Roast, Caffè Verona, and more. Each box has a red clearance sticker, so this might be a local markdown. Some are near the expiry date.

Not sure if this deal is available at other Canadian Tire locations — worth checking if you’re nearby.

Great time to stock up if you’re a Vertuo user or want to try out some premium blends on the cheap.

Not explicitly a Black Friday deal on Costcos website. Every year though if Apple does a GC promo for this time year, Costco tends to drop their price for some Apple products. All the other MacBook Airs are on sale too. In store as well. I’m eyeing the 13 inch with 16GB of Ram and 512GB SSD it’s currently $1439.99.

Seems to be the lowest price on kitchenaid’s timeless stand mixer I’ve seen for this mixer in a long time and definitely across retailers this black friday. Artisan is typically $50 higher than the classic due to the variety of colour options available.

Amazon has the mixer on sale as well at $339 – comes with a splash guard for the top of the bowl that sells for $56 separately which may be the better deal if you’re looking for that, but KitchenAid has the lowest base price.

My wife asked for one for Christmas so this works out very nicely. So many colours to choose from, I went with Pistachio to match our other kitchen decor.

I am looking for an iPad for my parents, and found this iPad 11 from Staples. $100 off from the original price, but it’s around 20%.

Is this a good deal? Also, is this entry level iPad good enough for light use, such as web browsing, Netflix, FaceTime, etc?
