It is not for charging at over 18W (5V x 3.0A), even with an Apple device that will charge to 90% in 1 hour.
Example:
Your Pixel 8 will charge at 18W max. with this cable via PD charging.
If you had a PD cable instead of this one it would charge at 27W
Just when you thought the USB connector wars were over in comes the more insidious invisible USB cable charging cable incompatibility. Start labelling your cables. sigh.
