I don’t know if it’s still the case with the Forge lineup, but with the HOs the 6.0 was often recommended over the 8.0. The XC 5.0 is old tech but it’s probably one of the most reliable workhorse batteries they’ve ever sold.

If you can do the return “hack” on the XC 5.0 the Forge would come out to $160 which is the lowest I’ve seen.
Or internally rationalise it as $160 for the Forge and $120 for the XC 5.0 which is decent pricing not blow your socks off (current pricing on the XC 5.0 is $150+ for one, $248 for a 2 pack)
