A small price break for those on Ozempic or Wegovy (semaglutide injections) for diabetes or obesity. While the discount isn’t huge (~$30 for Ozempic, ~$45 for Wegovy), it should help cover what your insurance doesn’t cover for co-pays. And since very few insurance providers cover Wegovy, every little bit helps covering this very expensive drug.
Generics have been approved for Canada, so early next year (February, early March according to a couple pharmacists I’ve talked to), this drug will be a lot more affordable for all.
