That got me thinking whether you could return the free smaller power bank and get a partial refund applied to overall purchase. (Similar to home depot). As shown from the image, the “free powerbank” discount is applied across both items, hence you’re able to return the power bank to get some money back (less the discount on the portion on the free one). For me, it ended up being $33.97 refunded, so $129.99 – 33.97 = 96.02.
I acknowledge it’s not the hottest deal, but this power bank MSRP is $169 – realistically it’s $129 since that’s what the anker website price is, but still not a terrible discount (25%) if anyone was debating getting this power bank! I get the ugreen one is $120, but this one has two integrated cables!
Technically the Amazon Q&A acknowledges that you are allowed to return parts of the order, it’s just the promotion amount will be subtracted from the refund. Because the “free item” discount is split between the two items, returning the free item will result in some money being refunded when you return the smaller power bank!
