Initiate a transfer by October 16, 2025
Move a TFSA or RSP to an eligible Investment Fund Account with us. Your net transfer needs to be at least $15,000 up to a max of $250,000.

Get your Bonus
Starting in January 2026, your Bonus will be reinvested back into your Investment Fund Account, over 30 monthly payments.

What qualifies as an eligible transfer?
Your net transfer needs to be at least $15,000 up to a maximum of $250,000.
There are 2 ways to transfer:
1. A Tangerine TFSA or RSP Savings Account to a TFSA or RSP Investment Fund Account
2. A TFSA or RSP from another financial institution to a Tangerine TFSA or RSP Investment Fund Account
How do I transfer to my existing Tangerine RSP and/or TFSA?
1. Log in & select your RSP/TFSA Investment Fund Account
2. Hit ‘Buy Funds’ or tap the three dots in top right for ‘Transfer RSP/Transfer TFSA’
3. Follow the prompts from there
How do I open a new TFSA and/or RSP?
1. Log in & hit the RSP or TFSA Investment Fund Account you’d like to open
2. Follow the steps to open the Account, and when on the ‘Initial Investment’ screen choose either your existing Tangerine RSP/TFSA Savings Account or ‘External Account – Registered funds elsewhere’
3. Follow the prompts from there
