WYZE Cam v4, 2.5K HD WiFi Smart Home Security Camera, $24.99
If you don’t mind using Wyze app then, Wyze is better than competitor tapo c120. Image quality wyze v4 and Tapo c120 are the on par but, the app and connectivity is far better with Wyze than Tapo’s.
The Wyze app is faster loading and better for viewing recordings. I own both Wyze v4 and v3 and Tapo c120 cameras and, I experimented in various places of my house side by side. I found that Wyze is faster to connect and to start streaming with their respective apps.
However, if you prefer to use third party app and save video on your local home server for example on Synology NAS, UniFi Protect or local computer then tapo c120 is far better choice. Also, Tapo cameras are way faster to connect to UniFi Protect app than its own Tapo app. I think it’s something to do with the cloud loop and inefficiency of the Tapo app.
