Great shrimps for a small nano tank or if you want a larger tank.

Been to this location a few times and nice fire red colors in stock. If you have a shrimp only tank you’ll see a lot of new shrimp babies but if you add it to a community tank setup some fish may have a tasty snack if you don’t have enough hiding places for them (ie Java moss).

This type of shrimp is very active in a tank and grazes algae all over. If you have enough plants you almost don’t need to feed them as the tank will feed them if you run your lights for say 8hrs a day.

Great for beginners or experienced folks. Just make sure your aquarium is fully cycled (look up the Nitrogen Cycle). They make a great clean up crew to eat up any food left over from other fish during thier feeding time.

This shrimp has a wide Ph and temp range so you can have them in a unheard tank or heated if you want. Local tap water ph 7.5 in Toronto works well for them. Just make sure you treat the water (I use Seachem Prime, or any water declorinator)
