Although mine is not installed yet, FTTH should be better than FTTN and much better than DSL/cable. One poster below has good experience with them.
Original post:
telMax recently installed FTTH Internet in my neighborhood (GTA) and today I saw their booth at the Stouffville Strawberry Festival so I inquired about pricing. Turns out there’s a Canada Day special for my address, 2Gbps speed for $39.95/mo, 1-yr contract (screenshots attached). This price is probably targeted towards neighborhoods they recently laid fibre lines. If your neighborhood has telMax, it doesn’t hurt to ask about Canada Day pricing.
The sales/field rep only needed the address (or street), and the price popped up on screen. I cannot publish his number here but if ur interested I can share via pm.
