How to Sign Up for Canva Pro via Google Play with Turkish Pricing (for Canadians)
Before you begin:
You need an Android device or android simulator on PC, Canadian credit card (or any credit card can pay Turkey payment), and Chrome browser on your phone.
STEP 1: Create a New Google Account
On your Android device, go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Google
(Or visit accounts.google.com in Chrome and create a new Gmail.)
STEP 2: Set Up a Google Payments Profile in Turkey
Go to: payments.google.com
Log in with your new Google account.
Click Settings > Country/Region > Create New Profile.
Choose Turkey as the country.
Enter a Turkish address (you can use this example):

Add your Canadian credit card as the payment method.
Google accepts most major Canadian/International cards even if your profile is set to Turkey.
STEP 3: Access Google Play Store with the New Account
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon (top-right) and switch to the new Google account.
Close the app fully, then reopen it to refresh the country.
STEP 4: Install Canva from the Turkish Play Store
Open Chrome browser in Incognito Mode and enable Desktop Site view.
Visit play.google.com and log in with your new account.
Search for Canva, and click Install to send it to your Android device remotely.
STEP 5: Set Up Canva Pro Subscription
Open the Canva app on your device.
Sign in using your new Google account (or use “Log in via email”).
Tap Try Canva Pro, and choose Yearly Plan.
The price should show as ₺850 Turkish Lira (about $35 CAD as of 2025).

Complete the payment via Google Play.
//Other method: you may still try the VPN method (change ip to Turkey) to pay directly via website subscription if your credit card can go through it.
Since Canva cancels college student subscription, I have been using the free plan for so long. Hope this helps.
