HOLA MUCHACHOS!It’s happening. It’s real. This isn’t a drill. THIS IS THE TACO LOMA GRAND OPENING POST.
We’re open this Thursday from 11am–9pm and we’re going absolutely feral. Like, $3 tacos feral. $5 slushy margaritas feral. Patio’s open. Emotions are high. Kurtis wore shorts to the staff meeting again and now Christian’s cooking in a blind rage (but like a beautiful culinary rage).
The tacos? Gorgeous. The drinks? So slushy they legally classify as weather. Dallas has been practicing smiling in the mirror for this moment. Joe has been whispering “mezcal is a lifestyle” to strangers.
We didn’t win “Best New Restaurant With Food That Feels Like a Hug.” We weren’t nominated for “Most Emotionally Intelligent Burrito.” Michelin hasn’t called us (yet), but our moms are proud and that’s honestly more than we deserve.
Come for the tacos, stay because you blacked out on the patio and Kurtis fed you guacamole until you came to.
