this might be YMMV but for the ppl that likes Coke and their varieties.. Walmart prolly busted their own POS system when implementing the no tax? Just bought 4 packs of 6x710ml that was on sale for $2.95 each + 7% tax in bc.. but was not charged the bottle deposit so essentially saving extra $2.40 worth of deposit when you return it making it close to $10 for 24 bottles of 710ml.. i thought i was lucky and went back to buy another 4.. and again was not charged the bottle deposit..
it could very well be YMMV and Store specific coz i dunno if they manually program each store? this was at the poco walmart and i stocked up on bottle pops for xmas parties since nowadays Coke are ridiculously expensive.. this works out to aprx $2.35 + tax per pack of 6x710ml.. hard to beat that.. i think the price for coke last day is tmw.. if you try buy online it still charges you the bottle deposit.. and i used the self checkout.
