[Staples] [Boxing Day] Iphone 15pro 128GB leasing with Bell 5G plan@ $62.5 (taxes included)

Just now visited Staples store in Waterloo,ON where I saw this great deal on leasing Apple iphone 15pro and 15pro max. Currently they are running low on stock so grab ASAP if you find this deal interesting.

Offer:
iphone 15pro :- $16 with $200 giftcard(new device financing) & additional $100 giftcard(new activation with bell/porting to bell) = $300GC which can be used towards lowering phone cost.

iphone 15pro max 256gb:- $21 with $200 giftcard(new device financing) & additional $100 giftcard(new activation with bell/porting to bell) = $300GC which can be used towards lowering phone cost

Some complicated math which i kind of understood if correctly.

option A) use $240 of $300 towards phone; pay $240’s tax which is ~$32 which is still counted on remaining giftcard value; which means you actually don’t pay anything. This brings the phone value down by 240/24 = $10.
So, leasing iphone 15pro 128gb costing @ $16 – 10 = $6.00 + tax
remaining GC (~$28) you use at store or let go.

option B) use $300 of $300 towards phone; pay $300’s tax which is $39. this $39 is to be paid upfront; This brings the phone value down by 300/24 = $12.5.
So, leasing iphone 15pro 128gb costing @ $16 – 12.5 = $3.5 + tax. (i.e ~$7.08 tax included, *_* even more complicated math to figure out tax of that $3.5)
(I choose option B)

The Bell plan I got is a business plan @ $49/mo + tax (i.e $55.37 tax included)
plan details;
100 GB of shareable data at max speeds, then unlimited data at 512 Kbps.
unlimited calling, texting, picture and video messaging – Canada wide.
also,
Aeroplan offer: 15000 pts (credited within 90 days)

There are also regular customer plans and EPP plans starting @$45 but GC value vary and no Aeroplan points.

The activation charge is $70 which is shown in 1st bill cycle, which i have to call CC and it will be waved off as 7 X $10 monthly credit on subsequent bills

Summary:
iphone 15pro 128gb leasing with bell @ 55.37+7.08 = $62.45 (return device after 2 years or pay $574 to keep)

Additionally;
I also went to WoW mobile (inside conestoga mall, waterloo ON) where after explaining the offer they were ready to price match it with rogers carrier and 60GB data. But I did not move forward as their math was costing iphone15pro @ $57+tax
