If you needed a PDF solution like this, you’d probably know. Adobe is expensive, haven’t tried others. There could be better recommendations or better prices available, haven’t been looking very long.
If all you need is Adobe Reader you probably won’t make the most of this, I don’t need most of the features either but after trying the 4.0 at work I thought it was solid enough to look for a deal. If you’re unsure look through the datasheets for what features you need (by the way Kofax renamed to Tungsten).

Mobile features (some, all?) seems to be locked to 5.0. Docusign locked to Advanced. The software seems to be popular in the legal field, not sure why.
