40A NEMA 14-50 plug-in charger in J1772 or NACS (7.5 m/25 ft cable)
App: Set amperage, start/stop charging, monitor charging and energy use, and schedule charging (e.g. for TOU). Enter electricity rates.
Lifetime warranty if you charge more than 30 kWh per calendar month
Ownership stays with Soneil – if a participation is terminated, the charger is returned.
Made in Canada: Chargers are Engineered, Tested & Assembled in Canada by Soneil, a Canadian company with over 30 years in business.
Offline sessions: If the charger goes offline, sessions are recorded for up to 15 days and sync once it’s back online.
Bonus:
$20 bonus cash for new customers, once your charger records 1 kWh.
Some Terms:
- Was one charger per household, but appears to have changed that you can get a second charger with a different email address, and the energy is tracked separately
- The charger must be connected within 90 days of delivery
- Limit of 15 consecutive offline charging sessions before the hardware stops operating and Soneil needs to reactivate the charger.
- 90-day offline rule: If the Hardware remains offline for 90 consecutive days counted under this Section 4.6, Soneil may deem the account abandoned
