This might be a YMMV deal. I was looking for an angle grinder and noticed that Home Depot had it on sale for $128. I also noticed that Rona had the same grinder with a free battery. I also noticed that Rona automatically added the free battery to my shopping cart when I added the grinder.
I filled out Rona’s price match form and waited for approval. Once the price match was approved, I placed the order and called in to have the adjustment processed. It took a few hours, and I also had to call back to confirm that everything had been approved. Got the adjustment bill email before heading to the store to pickup the order.
