Eligibility and Enrollment
Register your eligible Card for the offer and then use same Card to make qualifying purchase(s). A purchase made during the offer period prior to registration of your eligible Card for this offer is not a qualifying purchase. Registration extends only to qualifying purchases on the Card you registered. Registered Card account must be in good standing.
Qualifying Purchases
To be eligible for a $5 (CAD) statement credit, a qualifying purchase of at least $20 (CAD) in a single transaction after taxes and applicable fees must be charged to your registered Card in store at participating Subway® location(s) in Canada or online at www.subway.com/en-ca during the offer period and subsequently posted to your account.
Offer valid only on purchases made in Canadian dollars and made directly with the merchant.
If you share your location with the Amex App, you will see nearby participating merchant locations.
Offer Inclusions and Exclusions
Offer valid in-store at standalone Subway® locations in Canada, through the Subway® mobile application, or online at www.subway.com/en-ca. Purchases must be made directly with Subway®. Pick-up orders placed online or through the mobile application must be picked up at an eligible Subway® location in Canada. Excludes Subway® locations within larger venues such as (but not limited to): i) retail stores, department stores, supermarkets, malls, outlet malls, ii) hotels, resorts, casinos, convention centers, stadiums, arenas, cruise ships, theme parks, zoos, aquariums, iii) airport terminals, train/bus stations, highway rest-stops, iv) hospitals, military bases, office buildings, and university/college campuses. Not valid on purchases made through third-party apps or services, or on catering orders. Delivery orders must be placed directly through the Subway website or mobile app in Canada to qualify for the offer. Excludes purchases of gift cards made online, purchases made through third party apps or services, and catering orders.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the offer, the following transactions are not qualifying purchases: purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries, a card reader attached to a mobile phone, or if the merchant category is otherwise not identified.
Statement Credit
You can earn up to a maximum of $5 (CAD) in statement credit(s) per registered Card during the offer period. Statement credit is typically applied to your registered Card account within 30 days from the date of qualifying purchase but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer. Call the number on the back of your Card if the statement credit has not posted after 30 days from the date of purchase. Statement credit will be reversed if qualifying purchase(s) is returned/cancelled at any time.
In the event that you replace your registered Card through Amex Bank of Canada or other participating American Express card issuer (as applicable) during the offer period, your participation in this offer will end and you will need to re-register for this offer.
