Thinking of picking up this TP-Link RE405BE from Amazon.ca.
The price looks tempting, but I’m wondering if it’s worth spending extra over the RE235BE.
On paper, it has a 2.5G Ethernet port, EasyMesh support, and higher rated 5 GHz speeds than the RE235BE.
It’s dual-band though, so no 6 GHz.Has anyone actually used this one? Does it hold a stable connection, and what speeds are you getting compared with connecting directly to your router?
Would you buy it at this price, wait for a better deal, or put the money toward a mesh setup instead? Router model and setup details would be helpful!
