Posting this as a separate deal, as someone else had posted the DeWALT 3 Ton Hydraulic Service car Jack at regular price at Costco, but the thread mentions the sale in the comments section.
This car Jack seems to be replacing the Torin car Jack at Costco stores after they cleared the old ones out (seemed like mixed reviews compared to the original blue Torin jack, versus the newer red one).
This DeWALT jack is certainly heavier than the Torin one. It’s got nice big angled ridges to grab on to, and that’s great considering this is about 74 pounds. I ended up returning the Red Torin Jack that was unopened, because I like the fact the DeWALT jack has steel wheels, so I’m hoping that will help with long term durability. Like the Torin jack previously sold, there is a quick start pedal, it’s dual pump, and it comes with an adapter for extra lift height, but the general design is a bit lower profile friendly. Unfortunately it is a bit heavier than the Torin jack (I suspect due to the steel wheels).
Price is cheaper in store versus buying it online. On sale at Costco until October 25, 2026.
This is a great time to pick up this jack as tire swapping season is just around the corner. Not too many jacks left at the Kanata Costco location, compared to the following day.
As always, please use car jacks along side with jack stands for extra safety. Remember to also purge any air before you use it.
