Thanks (or no thanks) to the cheap Chinese EVs around the world, Tesla, and Polestar being banned in USA, it looks like Canada has become the market for Polestar to unload their EVs. The Polestar 2 AWD is now $60k and comes fully loaded, while the Polestar 4 starts at $50k and tops out at $75k. Definitely worth considering as an alternative to Tesla if you are in the market for a premium EV, especially considering that any EV can use Tesla Superchargers now.
Yes Polestar jointly owned by Volvo and Geely. No they are not built in China. I’m fairly sure these vehicles are coming from the US factory. Ownership under Geely has been much better than when they were under Ford. No I do not agree with how Polestar is run, but their cars speak for themselves.
