Not your conventional deal but wanted some people to know there are still affordable places to live in Canada. Edmonton has the second highest Home price-to-disposable income ratio. Check the link for more info as well.
“The best area” depends on what you do in the city, finding good friends to spend good times times with and appreciation of the city vs thinking you are stuck here.
That in combination with having a better chance to be able to pay your bills and raise a family makes Edmonton right up there as a place to live.
What good is somewhere else where every month you are further in debt, can’t afford to do anything or raise a family and have zero chance of ever owning a property or getting ahead.
Under those circumstances, wherever you live is suddenly a not so good place to live.
