Rakuten.com (the US site) is currently offering 15% cashback on AliExpress. Since AliExpress prices are global, you can shop on the US portal and still ship to Canada to get the higher rate.
Essential Tips for Successful Tracking
AliExpress is notoriously finicky with cashback. To ensure your 15% doesn’t vanish, follow these steps:
Use Rakuten.com (US), not .ca: Even if you are in Canada, log into the US site. You can get paid out via PayPal in USD (which is a bonus).
Clear your Cookies/Incognito: Start with a fresh Incognito window. Log into Rakuten first, then click the AliExpress link.
Empty your Cart First: Don’t have items sitting in your cart before clicking through Rakuten. Add them after you’ve activated the session.
Avoid the App: Complete the entire transaction in a desktop browser. Mobile app hand-offs often break the tracking string.
Disable Ad-Blockers: UBlock Origin or Pi-hole can kill the tracking pixel. Disable them for this transaction.
Stick to “Rakuten Approved” Coupons: Using “Influencer” codes or certain “exclusive” coins-only discounts can sometimes void the affiliate commission (and thus your cashback). Standard “Choice Day” coupons are usually safe.
Known Exclusions
