WestJet has a new non-stop flight from Toronto that is being launched in June to Ponta Delgada, Portugal (i.e. in the Azores). The inaugural flight I noticed that the fares are quite low for that time of year in June ($600-$660 depending on the company you book with). Discounted fare looks to be for the inaugural flights happening that June 14 week.
You can travel for around the same price in May or other earlier dates, however, that is on TAP / other airlines and the travel time in some cases is significantly longer (i.e. 2x the time or more) due to the connection in Lisbon.
