I was browsing receivers on Best Buds and noticed this model is back on sale with $700 off. The regular price is obviously quite inflated, so the sale makes it much more reasonable.
I personally own the LX105 and have been very impressed with the HDMI bandwidth and overall sound quality when running my PC through the gaming port.
The main difference between the two is that the LX305 has two additional channels, which allows for better Atmos configurations and includes IMAX Enhanced support.
