I purchased this during Black Friday when the original price was $244.99 and $30 off so I got it for $214.99. Price is $5 higher now but $50 off until December 20, 2025. I’ve been quite happy with the chest freezer so far and think it’s a great deal. Especially because the price includes shipping!
I know lots of people love the Danby one which is 2 ft3 larger but it’s $349.99 if you want that shipped and I don’t think it’ll fit in my car if I purchase in store.
For reference, the 5 ft3 chest freezer is being used by 3 adults and there’s more than enough room. However, we do not buy a lot of prepackaged foods or meal prep multiple meals so suitability may be different for you. If you do, I would say it’s suitable for 2 people rather than 3.
