GLM 4.6 might not be as good as GPT 5.1 or Sonnet 4.5 but you can get a year of coding or agentic work out of the lite plan for the price of a month of the cheapest plans by OpenAI or Anthropic.
It has worked well for me with Claude Code, Cline and Open WebUI for open source projects.
