All online purchases incur a $25 shipping fee mandatory. This fee is unwaivable according to agent I spoke to.
Certified pre-owned (CPO) devices are usually phones that have been returned within the return period and basically open box devices.
Compared to a 2nd hand or third-party refurbished device these CPO Rogers phones usually have nearly 100% battery capacities, likely have not have any repairs done to them, and are guaranteed to have clean serial numbers/IMEI numbers. So even with a more expensive Rogers/Fido plan, it may be safer to pick up these devices than a 2nd hand device off Facebook or something.
Phones are likely not eligible to add AppleCare+ since they have already been activated once and expired the 60 day grace period, unless they were never activated (very rare).
Shipping time on website shows 4+ weeks but I ordered a 14 Pro Max 256GB on Saturday 19 April and got a shipping notification on Sunday 20 April.
Be aware that iPhone 14 lineup uses lightning port still in case that’s a deal breaker.
