I’ve been eyeing a Weber Slate for a while now, and finally a deal came up I couldn’t pass up. CT has the 28” LP Slate on clearance for $489.93, which is $210 less than the usual $699 price. On top of it, if you buy it today (Fri, Nov 14) you get 20x CT money which in my case is $39.19 into your account.
I really was holding out for a 30” NG Slate as it has more bells and whistles, but for less than half the price I think this is a great way to go. If I love it I can upgrade later and sell this for most of the cost.
Only challenge will be to find stores with stock. I got mine at Mavis/Dundas in Mississauga. They have one assembled one left in the back.
