My understanding:
* You can pay with any cards, not just BNS scene+ cards. You can even redeem your pts to pay, but I wouldn’t.
* The terms don’t say this offer is limited to one time: however I won’t be taking chances.
* You’ll be earning 3pts/$ on bookings in addition to the 5k pts.
* Scene+ Travel is powered by Expedia.
What I’ve experienced:
* Most properties are refundable. Because we’ll be disqualified from the promo if we make any changes on 11/1 or later, I made some speculative refundable bookings.
* I’m not receiving confirmations even after a few hours. All I received were automated ‘messages’ from 2 properties I booked. We need to log in, then go to ‘itineraries’ to see the details of bookings.
Terms and Conditions:
Scene+ members will earn 5,000 Scene+ points for 2 nights booked or more on eligible hotel stays made between October 1, 2025 12:01am PT and October 31, 2025 11:59pm (the “Offer Period”) through Scene+ Travel website or call centre (collectively “Scene+ Travel)” with a travel window between October 1, 2025 12:01am PT and completed by March 31, 2026 11:59pm PT (the “Offer”). Travel booked via the Scene+ Travel call centre may be subject to a booking fee. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified. Scene+ points are only earned on the total value of hotel, car bookings, and things to do (including taxes and fees) made through Scene+ Travel regardless of the payment method used for the purchase (Scene+ points redemption and/or payment card purchases). Points earned will be added to your Scene+ account within eight weeks from the completion of your travel itinerary. Some restrictions and limitations may apply. Cancelled bookings are not eligible for this Offer. Modified bookings will not be eligible for this Offer if the modification occurs outside the Offer Period or if the modification means travel is completed after March 31, 2026.
