[Primus] Primus Fiber internet services for Costco members – $55/1Gbps or $44/500 Mbps (Possibly Ontario only)

I posted the Deal URL, but I actually found this in my inbox from the Costco app, and there’s more info going through the app than on desktop/browser. Deal URL doesn’t show all the plans and the prices, or the fact that it’s Fiber service now. If I hadn’t already signed up for EBOX for $50/mo for 1Gbps service, I’d have gone for this easily.

YMMV on availability, but for me in GTA, it was available. Below are the packages I can see from the app:

1 Gbps download speed for $54.95/mo (750 Mbps up)
500 Mbps down/up for $43.95/mo
150 Mbps down/up for $38.95/mo

Unlimited data consumption, Wi-Fi 6 equipment, no contracts, and free activations. All packages include a Wi-Fi pod as a bonus, but that may be for Exec members only

There’s plenty of Fiber internet deals for around this price, may be even cheaper, but this one seems readily and easily available without having to jump through hoops, although YMMV for availability. Bell owns Primus, but if you’ve been waiting to ditch (actual) Bell or Rogers, this may be your chance. Good to know if I’m unhappy with EBOX, i can switch out to Primus. I’ve noticed my internet has a bit of a lag compared to my previous Bell plan, even though the service is the same. The 10s rewind on Prime/Netflix lags compared to Bell, and my Alexa devices take longer to respond. I kept the Wi-Fi SSID the same so all of my devices auto-joined, but who knows…
