Not sure if this has been posted before but I was shopping for a stacking laundry from LG on Costco. The website lets you build a bundle, adding washer dryer and a stacking kit. For some reason when I added the bundle I built to the cart, the option to get a warranty didn’t appear as it normally does below. So I went back in and selected the individual washer to the cart (now Qty of 2) and it gave me an option to add a warranty which I did. Of course the mix and match bundle was now showing a discount of 600 with two washers, stacking kit, warranty and a dryer. So when I removed the second washer the discount went down to 300. However if you remove the warranty too, discount goes down to 200 with just washer dryer and stacking kit. In other words, adding 99 dollar warranty for the washer increases bundle discount to 300 so basically a free warranty on the washer.
Also note that the stacking kit doesn’t increase discount and neither does getting a warranty for dryer as well. If you opt for suite warranty which is 195, discount is still 300.
Overall, adding warranty for washer reduced my final total by 8 bucks so well worth it. Just gotta figure out if I need to specify to Costco what I want warranty to cover. I hope that helps someone.
