Pretty good deal for a relatively new oil that was hard to source in Canada until recently. There is a lot of evidence online which supports that using this Valvoline Restore and Protect oil can help clean up the carbon buildup on your piston rings and help to reduce oil consumption. I can personally vouch that it works because I was able to eliminate the oil consumption on my Honda Odyssey after 3 changes and reduce the consumption on my Accord after 1 oil change interval so far. You can find more information about this oil in the RFD Thread about it. Valvoline claims up to 100% deposit removal when used for 4 oil changes in a row as recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.
The $34.97 pricing might be an error in the flyer as it is the same price as Valvoline’s regular synthetic oil. This oil scanned for $43.97 but after showing a manager the flyer on my phone he reduced the price for me so YMMW. Note that it is not in the regular weekly Walmart flyer but its in the seasonal “Home for the Harvest” flyer valid from September 25th to October 22nd. Would jump on the deal fast if you’re interested as they can update the flyer at any time.
