BMO is offering up to $750 cash back on new Performance Chequing and Premium Chequing accounts. Must sign up by September 30, 2025.
In order to earn the $500 part of the bonus you must sign up for a new chequing account. Then make a deposit and complete two of the following by November 28, 2025:
- Set up recurring direct deposit
- Make two bill payments of at least $50 to different billers
- Set up two pre-authorized debits of at least $50 to different billers
The recurring direct deposit and the two bill payments are most likely the easiest ones to complete.
An additional $50 can be earned after adding a new family member account as part of the Family Bundle by September 30.
New account holders can receive a $50 Walmart gift card when they open a Savings Amplifier Account by September 30, 2025, and deposit any amount by October 31, 2025.
New account holders can earn an additional $150 by depositing a total of $10,000 or more into a Savings Amplifier Account within 30 days of opening the account; and maintain a daily closing balance of $10,000 or more at all times for an additional 90 calendar days (e.g. if you open the account on August 1, you must deposit $10,000 by August 31, and then must maintain the balance until November 29).
The offer can be coupled with a $50 cash back rebate from Frugal Flyer for a total of $800. Cash back on Frugal Flyer is paid via Paypal.
The Performance Chequing account has a monthly fee of $16.95 but is waived as long as you have a $4,000 balance in the account at all times. The Premium Chequing account has a monthly fee of $30 but is waived as long as you have a $6,000 balance in the account at all times. The Performance account is the better choice due to the lower min balance to waive fees.
