The gist: $100 add on for existing Bell mobility (might be targeted) which lets you use your existing plan in other countries (similar to Roam like Home add-ons which are ~$16/day)
My Galaxy S20+ does not have an esim option, but I love the phone, so when I go to Europe or whatever I’ll buy Vodafone (or similar) unlimited travel sims for like 25 Euro ($40 CAD). I travel 2-3 times per year so this would break even for me.
The benefit being that my Canada number is still receiving calls, and that I don’t have to switch physical sims anymore, and if I have a layover on my way to any country I’ll have data in the layover city as well. As some airports only provide 1hr of wifi or slow speeds.
